About the Artwork: Panel built from cut, sanded, and deconstructed images. At the bottom of the panel, one can see a wooden molding carved and glued horizontally. This is a pure element of decoration. The background of the panel is painted with a pigmented lime paint on which are superimposed cut-out elements belonging to the floral, spherical, statuary, aquatic, bestiary (bee), and architectural domains, constants that can be found in my other panels, like a personal alphabet. For this series, a common dominant is symbolized by a Provencal jewel. Here is the perfect harmony between a bright pink color and its different tones and a secondary color in shades of green, with the luminous blue of the sky as a highlight. The panel is bathed in bright and invigorating light. In a floral setting, the main character, represented by a female statue in an arabesque movement, is dancing.
