About the artwork: There are no lampposts. Only the lights of the road flicker. The night has overtaken the city. The cabs are rushing around causing people to go crazy. The cars are there to bring light. Everything else is just shadow. The stars are twinkling but the cold wind has overtaken the city. Elyn remains insensitive to this frigid city. She reaches her home with no cab. The night will be calm and her sleep will be sound. The clock of the house will rock her like a heart beats. Her night and her dreams of warmth will cover the land that she did not choose. Silence will be virtue.
