All orders, purchases and transactions are subject to these terms of sale, terms of use and the privacy policy of galeriejumelles.com, including, but not limited to, the limitations on damages and exclusions of guarantees set out therein.

 

Ordering

The orders are not constrained and you engage yourself alone in the purchase process and the acceptance of all the conditions bind.  Galeriejumelles.com is not responsible for delays or delivery failures due to causes beyond its control, including, but not limited to, natural disasters, war, terrorism, embargo, quarantine, accidents, fires, explosions, floods, epidemics, civil unrest, unavailability of labor or transport or any other similar or dissimilar cause; each event, in the event that it does occur, will be examined and dealt individually according to the laws in force in the State of New Jersey, USA.

You are responsible for supplying correct information when submitting an order. No responsibility is assumed for mis-delivery due to incorrect information supplied by a customer. Galerie Jumelles reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order at any time in accordance with these conditions and the laws in force, in which case the customer’s sole remedy is a refund of any payment(s) made for such order.

All information submitted by you in connection with any order is governed by our Privacy Policy.

 

Product

Descriptions, images, references, features, content, specifications, products, prices and availability of any product or service are subject to change and/or correction without notice, our current prices can be viewed on our sites and applications. We reserve the right, with or without notice, to limit the quantity available or to discontinue any product or service.

All works displayed on the Site are unique.  However, our artists are able to offer pieces for sale independent from Galerie Jumelles, and therefore, on rare occasion,  some works may no longer be available.

The Seller (artist) is responsible for accurately describing and pricing works they are offering for sale. The works offered on this site are described and presented with the greatest possible accuracy and you acknowledge and understand that colors seen on a computer screen may not resemble colors as they appear on an original artwork.  Any color differential is directly related to screen display is not the liability of Galerie Jumelles.

Galerie Jumelles makes no guarantee, warranty or representation, expressed or implied, to any Buyer with respect to any Item, including without limitation, its merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, importance,  relevance, or as to whether the Buyer acquires any reproduction right or other intellectual property right in any work. No statement anywhere, whether oral or written, shall be deemed any such guarantee, warranty or representation.

 

Prices and taxes

The seller reserves the right to modify its prices at any time and without notice, the price of any purchase is the one indicated at the time of placing the order, subject to availability on that date. Prices are indicated in US Dollars, which do not include the shipping and customs costs which will be indicated before the validation of the order.

 

Payment

Payment for any order must be made in advance at the time the order is placed and via a secure payment system. You may pay for your order by credit card, or by PayPal, or by any other means we may choose to accept in the future. The seller does not collect any payment data and has chosen establishments that are well known and provide one of the highest levels of security. In the event of stopped payment, refused debit or other failure to submit pre-payment, the seller will have the right to cancel the order or, if it has already been dispatched, to request payment and to hold the customer responsible for all collection costs, including, but not limited to, reasonable attorney’s fees, as well as interest at the rate of 1.5% per month (or the higher rate permitted by law if it is less than 1.5% per month) until payment is made.

 

Delivery

The products are sent to the address indicated by the customer during his purchase, the customer must verify and is responsible for the accuracy of the information transmitted. Any item returned to the seller for an incorrect or incomplete address will be reshipped at the customer’s expense.

It is the customer’s responsibility to check the integrity of the packaging and to check the condition of the item upon delivery, and in the presence of the delivery person. If during the delivery the packaging and/or the article has been damaged, the customer must then refuse the article and make precise and detailed written notes on the delivery slip. In the event of refusal, the customer must then notify Galerie Jumelles by email or registered mail within 24 hours.

Please expect the shipping and delivery of your product: 2 to 4 weeks. However, Galerie Jumelles cannot be responsible for exceeded delivery times due to delays at customs, delays by the seller/buyer/carrier, or other unforeseen and unavoidable delays that can occur in international shipping. You will be informed in real time of any change in the status of your order. 

 

Return Policy

It is our privilege to bring to you the most talented creatives and the finest in French fine art from all over the world. We know how important your selection is to you. Therefore, we urge you to utilize our complimentary art advisory service and to choose your artwork carefully.as we are only able to accept returns under certain conditions.

If you are not completely satisfied with a work of art for any reason and would like to request a refund, you must contact Jumelles within 24 hours and return the purchase within five working days of receiving the order. If approved, the work may be returned for a refund, exchange, or credit equivalent to the purchase price, less shipping and handling charges. Beyond 5 days, no returns or refunds will be possible. 

 

Damaged shipments

We work hard to make sure that both our customers and our artists are happy with the exchange.  We also take great care to ensure that damage does not occur during shipping. If you notice any serious damage to the outside of the package please do not sign for the delivery and contact us immediately.

To avoid accidentally damaging your work during unpacking, we recommend that you consider leaving the unpacking and installation of the artwork to a trusted professional.  

Any refund requests for damaged shipments must be refused at the time of delivery, or returned immediately for a refund. For such request, an email must be received by Galerie Jumelles within 24 hours, with a digital image of the damaged attached. In order to protect the livelihood of our artists, damaged goods will only be accepted by Galerie Jumelles (for consideration for a refund) if this strict protocol is followed.
